Guarani Ayvu 3.25

The Secretary of Language Policy, the Guarani Language Academy, the Institute of Modern Languages at the National University of Asuncion, PopulisTech, and the Recordings in Guarani Group collaborated to establish a multidisciplinary team responsible for developing the Android App named “Guarani Ayvu”. This application features a trilingual translator (Guarani/Spanish/English) and serves as a language resource for the Paraguayan populace and interested parties globally, fostering understanding and proficiency in Guarani.

With a core emphasis on fostering bilingualism between Paraguay’s official languages (Guarani and Spanish) alongside English, Guarani Ayvu is a complimentary app tailored for Android smartphones and tablets. It comprises 3,200 Guarani terms translated into Spanish and English with corresponding audio pronunciations in Guarani. Furthermore, users can access phonetic representations of the Guarani alphabet, fundamental grammar guidelines, essential medical vocabulary, as well as translations of constitutional texts and significant language legislation into Guarani, supported by audio recordings.
